Estenove Reviews 2026: Cost, Hospitals & Honest Verdict

Last updated: October 2026

Short verdict: Estenove is not a clinic in the usual sense: it describes itself as a Ministry of Health-authorised health tourism facilitator (certificate AK-0195) that organises hair transplants at partner hospitals in Istanbul, which it names as Erdem Hospital and Ataköy Hospital. Its three fixed packages cost €3,395, €4,595 and €6,595, well above the €2,148 median starting price across the 64 clinics in our database that publish prices, and they include a lot: hotel, VIP transfers, PRP and 18 months of follow-up. Patient ratings are very high, with 4.9 on Trustpilot from 1,242 reviews. The main point to check is who does what: in the two cheaper packages, Estenove lists doctor participation in the incisions but not in graft extraction. Our methodology explains how we score clinics.

Is Estenove a clinic or an agency?

An agency, in the legal sense: Estenove's own "About us" page calls it "a facilitator authorized by the Ministry of Health, Republic of Türkiye (Authorization Certificate No: AK-0195)" that works with partner hospitals and doctors. Under Turkey's 2017 Regulation on International Health Tourism, both the health facility and any intermediary must hold such an authorisation, so the model is legal; it is simply different from booking a clinic that owns its operating rooms.

What that means for you is one extra link in the chain. Your contract and payment go to Estenove, while the operation happens in a partner hospital with the team that works there. Ask in writing which hospital you will be treated in, which doctor will plan and supervise your case, and who to contact if something goes wrong after you fly home. Estenove's website names its medical team: Dr. Yücel İskender, a general surgeon by training who is listed as Chief Medical Director of Nove Group; Dr. Zafer Çetinkaya, who has worked in hair transplantation since 2014; and Dr. Emin Güler, who graduated in 2024 and joined Estenove that August.

How much does a hair transplant at Estenove cost, and what is included?

Estenove sells three fixed packages, €3,395, €4,595 and €6,595, and does not charge per graft; the price is confirmed after an assessment of your photos. That starting price is about 58% above the €2,148 median in our database, so Estenove sits in the upper part of the Turkish market.

One detail to confirm: the package table lists 3 nights of hotel, while Estenove's own FAQ says 2 nights for patients from the UK and Europe and 3 nights for the USA, Canada and Australia. Ask which applies to you. Flights are not included, as with every Turkish package; our guide to hair transplant packages lists the usual extras.

Who performs the surgery at Estenove?

It depends on the package. Estenove's package table promises doctor participation in the incisions in every package, but doctor participation in graft extraction only in the €6,595 Premium package. For the two cheaper packages, the page does not say who performs the extraction. "Participation" is also not the same as a doctor performing every incision.

This matters because the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) treats both donor harvesting and recipient site creation as surgical steps for a licensed physician, and advises patients to ask whether anyone unlicensed will make incisions or harvest grafts. Before you pay a deposit, ask Estenove to name the doctor for each step of your operation. Our guide on whether a hair transplant in Turkey is safe explains why this question comes first.

Which techniques does Estenove offer?

Sapphire FUE and DHI with the Choi implanter pen are the two core techniques, with a stem-cell add-on in the two upper packages and specific pages for female, Afro and Asian hair. The packages are "maximum grafts": you get as many as your donor area can safely give, at the same price. Our DHI cost guide explains what changes between the two techniques, and our guide on how many grafts you need gives the usual ranges by Norwood stage. If you are offered the stem-cell upgrade, ask exactly what is used and what evidence supports it, since this is the main price difference between the first two packages.

What do Estenove's patient reviews say?

They are overwhelmingly positive. On Trustpilot, Estenove has a TrustScore of 4.9 from 1,242 reviews, with 96% five-star and about 1% one-star ratings, on a profile claimed in June 2019. Trustpilot also notes that the company has not invited customers recently, so reviews may not be representative. On Google Maps it held 4.9 at our last check. High scores are common among Turkish hair clinics, so read the low-star reviews as well, and look at results at 12 months rather than the first weeks.

In our Transparency Index, Estenove meets 6 of 8 criteria: it names doctors and their roles, publishes prices and package contents, shows its Ministry authorisation and links its reviews. It misses two: it has no facility of its own, by the nature of its model, and we found no written guarantee.

Who is Estenove not for?

  • Patients who want a named doctor to perform extraction as well as incisions, unless they book the €6,595 Premium package.
  • Patients who prefer to deal directly with a clinic that owns its operating rooms.
  • Budget patients: comparable all-inclusive packages in Istanbul start lower, and the median in our database is €2,148.
  • Patients who want a written guarantee; ask for any promise in writing before paying.
