Short verdict: FueCapilar is a small doctor-led hair transplant clinic in Istanbul, founded in 2017 and built around two named doctors, Dr. Dogan Turan and Dr. Gokhan Gur. It is unusually clear about who does what in surgery, limits each doctor to two operations a day and publishes a written revision guarantee, which only 9 of the 96 clinics we checked do. What it does not publish is prices, package contents, a Ministry licence or the name of the facility where you will be operated on. Our profile puts the price at €1,500 to €3,500 with the hotel, transfers and aftercare included. Its Trustpilot score is 2.6, but from only 4 reviews; Google Maps shows 4.1. Who are the doctors at FueCapilar?
Two doctors lead every operation. Dr. Dogan Turan graduated from Istanbul Medical School in 1986, has worked in hair transplantation since 1999 and is FueCapilar's Medical Director and co-owner; his profile reports more than 3,500 operations. He has a profile on the website of the International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons (IAHRS), a directory that limits its listings to selected hair restoration surgeons. Dr. Gokhan Gur graduated from Gaziantep University in 1994, has performed hair transplants since 2003 and reports more than 3,000 operations of his own.
FueCapilar also says each doctor performs at most two operations a day. Fewer operations per doctor leaves more of the doctor's time for each patient, so it is worth asking any clinic the same question.
Who performs each step of the surgery?
It depends on the doctor, and FueCapilar says so in writing. Its FAQ is one of the clearest in our database on this point:

The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) treats graft harvesting and recipient site creation as surgical steps for a licensed physician, so check which package and which doctor your quote is for. In our Transparency Index, 64 of the 96 clinics we checked name their doctor, but only 40 explain who does which step.
How much does FueCapilar cost?
FueCapilar does not publish prices. The range in our profile is €1,500 to €3,500 (about $1,690 to $3,950, or £1,280 to £2,990) for typical sessions of 1,000 to 2,500 grafts. The price follows a review of your photos and a health form that one of the doctors approves; the booking is then secured with a €500 deposit. The clinic says it does not give discounts.

What is included in FueCapilar packages?
Our profile records the hotel, airport transfers and aftercare as included, a combination 59 of the 100 clinics in our database offer. FueCapilar's FAQ adds the details: you stay in its designated hotel from the day before surgery until the hair wash, and you receive an aftercare package with written instructions and care products. Medication is not included; you buy it at a pharmacy near the clinic, and a member of the team goes with you.
The clinic does not publish a written list of package contents, and 58 of the 96 clinics we checked do. Ask for one by email before paying the deposit: the hotel's name and number of nights, which transfers are covered, what the aftercare package contains and whether follow-up checks cost extra. What does the FueCapilar guarantee cover?
A revision surgery, under conditions. FueCapilar's FAQ says that if more than 20% of the transplanted grafts show no sign of growth 12 to 18 months after surgery (18 months for the crown), it will perform a revision. To qualify, you must follow the aftercare instructions and send photos on days 5, 10, 15 and 30 and at 3, 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18 months. Only 9 of the 96 clinics in our Transparency Index publish a written guarantee or complication policy.
The FAQ also describes the clinic's limits on large cases. It takes no more than a third of the donor area in one operation, and a patient who needs 8,000 grafts is treated in two operations 12 to 15 months apart. One operation takes about 3 hours per 1,000 grafts; larger sessions can run over two consecutive days.
What do FueCapilar's patient reviews say?
There are too few to judge. FueCapilar's Trustpilot score is 2.6, but it comes from only 4 reviews, all one-star, and only 1 of them from the last 12 months; the profile was claimed in September 2026 and the clinic has not replied to them. Google Maps showed 4.1 at our last check. Read the individual reviews on both platforms, and look for patient results at 12 months, such as the cases in FueCapilar's own gallery or on independent forums.
Is FueCapilar legit?
It is an established clinic with two named, experienced doctors, but its website leaves four facts unpublished. In our Transparency Index it meets 4 of 8 criteria:

We checked the website by hand on 28 September 2026 and again in October 2026. A cross means we could not find the fact on the clinic's own site, not that it does not exist. Before booking, ask FueCapilar for its Ministry of Health authorisation and the name and address of the facility where you will be operated on. - Patients who want to judge a clinic by a large number of reviews: FueCapilar has few on Trustpilot.
- Patients who want medication included in the package.
- Patients who want both extraction and channel opening done by a doctor: book with Dr. Gur's VIP package, and confirm it in writing.
